Caley Chelios has some words for Connor Bedard that Blackhawks fans aren't fond of

After Thursday night, we all believe that Connor Bedard shouldn't have received a penalty for being slashed; however, broadcaster Caley Chelios is bravely challenging the narrative on the side of the NHL.
Ryan Lindgren of the Seattle Kraken would slash Connor Bedard and wouldn't receive a penalty on Thursday night.
But Bedard instead would advocate for himself afterwards, given that he experienced what looked like a painful hit from Lindgren's stick on his side.
He'd end up paying for challenging the NHL officiating crew afterward with unsportsmanlike conduct.
Jeff Blashill would defend Bedard for challenging the official after the pivotal penalty.
The penalty would change the pace of the game in favor of the Kraken.
Broadcaster Caley Chelios Downplays Poor Officiating in the NHL, which gave Connor Bedard a needless penalty
Later, Bedard would be angry about the poor NHL officiating, which would be later downplayed by broadcaster Caley Chelios.
The broadcast featuring Caley Chelios wouldn't fare any better, as she expected Bedard to learn a lesson after the interaction.
What was she really trying to accomplish with that comment? It would inflame the fandom online, as you see above.
The idea that Bedard had anything to learn from the interaction is a specious argument at best. Imagine arguing against your team's best forward.
The both-sidesing here is pretty ridiculous, especially acting as if the referee involved had a legitimate reason to call a penalty.
Connor Bedard has played 21 games this season and scored 31 points (13-18).
