Chicago Blackhawks unveil their training camp roster and one star studded forward's missing

The Chicago Blackhawks have released their official training camp roster which is set to begin on Thursday September 18th, and one very prominent forward is nowhere to be found: but why?

As the Chicago Blackhawks gear up for a major season is what could ultimately end their rebuild, fans are patiently waiting for the puck to drop on October 7th against the Florida Panthers.

Before the regular season kicks off, training camp begins in hopes to field out the players who don't belong on the roster: every spot in the Blackhawks' lineup must be earned.

One forward won't be with the Blackhawks though, throughout training camp or regular season.

Noticeably, Anton Frondell, the Blackhawks' 3rd overall selection of this years draft, is absent.

Despite his promise to attend training camp in Chicago during his draft interview this summer, he's going against his own word and will skip it, as we've discussed this before.
