Former Chicago Blackhawks forward Artemi Panarin, now with the New York Rangers, has been mock-dealt to the Anaheim Ducks in a recent wild trade proposal.

Former Chicago Blackhawks forward Artemi Panarin, who has been one of the best players in the NHL throughout his career, is also going into the last year of his current contract he signed in 2019.
Last year, the Rangers failed to not only defend their President's Trophy win from the previous year but also dealt with multiple internal conflicts that included reports of player mutiny against GM Chris Drury.
Per a proposal from TWSN, the Rangers could potentially trade Panarin to the Anaheim Ducks thanks to the Joel Quenneville connection, his former coach with the Blackhawks.
The Ducks are trying to build something special in Anaheim, and bringing a star like Panarin to town could make a big difference. With head coach Joel Quenneville now in town, the Ducks need more players like Panarin to help get them back to the postseason.

Per analyst David Pagnotta, the Rangers could consider a trade of Panarin if they get off to a poor start.
The guy I'm really curious about with the Rangers is Artemi Panarin. Final year of his deal. What's going to happen with him? His future in the Big Apple, if they get off to a hot start, does that change their mindset in terms of trying to now add to this group to get back on track, and they rebound quickly after a disappointing, very, very disappointing season last year, as you said.

Blackhawks fans consider the Artemi Panarin trade one of the worst in team history

Panarin won the Calder Trophy as the NHL's top rookie in 2015-16, and appeared to have all the makings of the next superstar with the Blackhawks.
But after just 2 years in a Blackhawks sweater, he was traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets so that they could bring back former Stanley Cup winner Brandon Saad.
Saad never recreated the magic that he enjoyed during his 1st go-around with the Blackhawks, while Panarin went on to star in Columbus before signing with the Rangers in 2019.
