In a thrilling showdown at Climate Pledge Arena, the Colorado Avalanche managed to topple the Seattle Kraken 6-4, propelling themselves into a 2-1 series lead. It was a historic win for the Avalanche, as they became the first team ever to secure a playoff victory at the Kraken's home turf.

Despite missing a key player in their lineup, the Avalanche showed great resilience and determination to overcome the Kraken's challenge. Forward Valerie Nichushkin was a notable absentee from the Colorado team, with reports suggesting that he had left the team hotel in the middle of the night, accompanied by security.
Things floating around twitter re: Nichushkin

- Could be an indefinite leave but he could be back for Game 4
- Apparently left team hotel for the Airport with a security team
- No longer in Seattle
- Agent nor team will explain further

Very strange, hope everything is ok
This is a very concerning situation and we hope all is well.
