38-Year Old Joe Pavelski Makes NHL History in First Playoff Game Back
Joe Pavelski was forced from the Stars first round series against the Wild after suffering a brutal hit from Matt Dumba.
here was cause for concern given Pavelski's history with head injuries, but he was able to return for game one of the second round against the Seattle Kraken. Pavelski's first game back proved that he can still go and he managed to break a record in the process.
At 38 years old, Joe Pavelski scored all four of the Stars' goals in incredible fashion, making him the oldest player in Stanley Cup playoff history to score 4 goals or more in a single game. Former Blackhawk Max Domi had 3 assists on the night, but the Stars ultimately came up short in overtime.
The Stars desperately needed Pavelski back in the lineup as he is looking for his first Stanley Cup ring. If Pavelski can keep making an impact, the Stars should have no problem making a comeback in this series.
