Marc-Andre Fleury considering delaying retirement: NHL insider proviees substantial update on the goaltender

Per a new report from NHL analyst Frank Seravalli, former Blackhawks goalie Marc-Andre Fleury could choose to delay his retirement to keep playing, and even lists a Western Conference team he could join.
It looked like the curtains had officially closed on the career of former Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury, but now that's not a sure thing.
Per a newly released report from NHL analyst Frank Seravalli, Fleury could be coaxed to play an additional year in the NHL and even named the Edmonton Oilers as a team he could potentially join.
I have zero doubt that teams will be calling to try and get their hands on him. And I have to think that
one of the teams that would stand out, given their goaltending situation, given their lack of interest in Carter Hart, would be the Edmonton Oilers. So keep an eye on that. I think that could be a potential fit down the road.

Fleury spent a small portion of his NHl career with the Blackhawks in 2021-22 before being traded to the Minnesota Wild.
Marc-Andre Fleury played one last game with the Pittsburgh Penguins
Fleury signed a PTO with the Pittsburgh Penguins to play a final preseason game with the team he won 3 Stanley Cups with.
He played the 2nd half of a recent game against the Columbus Blue Jackets at sold out PPG Paints Arena, which let Penguins fans give him a proper goodbye.
Is Fleury already going to change his mind? He's been tied to both the Oilers and Maple Leafs in recent years, and could be convinced to play another year despite promising to retire.
