Artyom Levshunov
recently made his
NHL debut
for the Chicago Blackhawks. He doesn't have a lot of experience yet, but he's not afraid to speak up. Recently, he shared some straight forward thoughts with his teammates about what the team needs.
Levshunov took part in his third NHL game of his career, just a short time after being
called up Levshunov from the Rockford IceHogs
, but sadly the
Blackhawks 2-6 loss to the Canucks
.
He still hasn't felt what it's like to win a game in the NHL.
After the game, he said,
«I want to score and win. We got to win too. A win is more important than a goal. Team win, team result-I think we got to work for it.»
It sounded like Levshunov was calling out his teammates as he craves his first NHL win.
Even though they lost, this game was special for Levshunov. He got his first point in the NHL by setting up a goal by
Wyatt Kaiser
.

"To do that here in the NHL, I'm so excited.»
It was a big moment for Levshunov, despite the loss.

NHL standings
.
