New insight has revealed former Chicago Blackhawks veteran, Jonathan Toews, the frontrunner to acquire him in his return to the National Hockey League.
The former Chicago Blackhawks legend, Jonathan Toews, has expressed his desire to return to the NHL, and if he does so, a frontrunner has emerged to sign him, and unfortunately for Blackhawks fans, it is not Chicago.
Although Toews won't be with the reuniting with the Hawks he once captained, there is a lot of worth in this forward.
He is a three-time Stanley Cup champion and a former Selke award winner, who brings leadership, defensive depth and experience to the able, elements that could be it a contender with depth at center.
That being said, an organization that could undoubtedly benefit from acquiring this veteran is the Dallas Stars, as Toews could provide th steady, leadership presence the team lacks.

Dallas has had an impeccable amount of positive runs recently in postseason contention, with a 2020 Finals appearance, 2023 and 2024 deep playoff series, yet, organization has yet to break through.
And although Toews is not messiah, he could definitely become the missing ingredient that finally puts them over the hump.
