An interesting candidate has emerged to replace former Chicago Blackhawk Patrick Kane for the Detroit Red Wings.

Patrick Kane has been limited to only 11 games this season with the Detroit Red Wings due to injuries.
The 37-year-old veteran is currently signed to a one-year deal, as most players nearing retirement usually are.

Red Wings Could Target a Top-Six Forward to Replace Patrick Kane

Frank Seravalli recently reported that the St. Louis Blues are open for business, and multiple rumors include names like Jordan Kyrou, especially after he was made a healthy scratch against the Sabres last week.
The Red Wings are among the few organizations with enough cap space to target Kyrou and make an interesting offer to the Blues.
According to Bleacher Report, he would be a great option for Yzerman to replace Kane, depending on Kyrou's no-trade list:
"The Red Wings will eventually need a suitable replacement for aging winger Patrick Kane. They have the cap space and plenty of young players and prospects to use as trade bait, but their years outside the postseason picture could have them on his no-trade list."

This season, Kyrou has scored six goals and five assists in 19 games, with a -10 +/-.
His $8,125,000 AAV contract signed in 2022 will expire at the end of the 2030-31 season.
Whether it's to replace Kane or another player, Kyrou would be a great addition to the team.
Stay tuned for updates on the former Chicago Blackhawks fan favorite Patrick Kane.
