There are multiple options for the Chicago Blackhawks to consider acquiring based on the latest information from the updated NHL Trade Board, including multiple former All-Star players.

The Chicago Blackhawks may have dropped three straight games, but they're still off to an impressive start so far this year with 10 wins, their best start since they last made the playoffs in 2020.
The last time Chicago was in the playoffs, they still had names like Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane, Duncan Keith, and Corey Crawford still on their roster.
Now, a new wave of talent led by Connor Bedard, the first overall pick in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft, along with players like Frank Nazar and Spencer Knight, are hoping to lead Chicago back to the playoffs before long.
Now, there are several names that are available for trade based on the latest updated NHL Trade Board, including the captain of the divisional foe St. Louis Blues, Brayden Schenn.
There's also Calgary Flames forward Nazem Kadri; both Schenn and Kadri have won a Stanley Cup earlier in their careers and would bring valuable championship experience to Chicago.

Could Chicago Acquire Either Brayden Schenn Or Nazem Kadri?

Both Schenn and Kadri would represent bonafide veteran and Stanley Cup-winning experience for the young Blackhawks, who are trying to take the next step.
They already acquired Andre Burakovsky from the Seattle Kraken in the summer, who won the Stanley Cup with both the Washington Capitals and Colorado Avalanche in his career.
Schenn is under contract for another two years beyond this one with an AAV (average annual value) of $6,500,000, and Kadri is under contract through 2029 with an AAV of $7 million.
But the Blackhawks can afford to bring in one of them considering their ample salary cap space.
