Five games Chicago Blackhawks fans can look forward in the 2025-26 NHL season

The Chicago Blackhawks improved their prospect pool, but unfortunately, they're still going to be sitting near last place in the league next year. However, with CHSN being more accessible going into the upcoming season, here are five games to tune into next season.

First off, the first game of the season and home opener is always something to tune into.
Even though the season opener, the first game of the whole NHL season on Tuesday, October 7th, is against the back-to-back, reigning, defending Stanley Cup champions, the Florida Panthers, it'll still be the first time the Blackhawks touch the ice since April.
The hunger for Hawks hockey will fuel the first few minutes.
The home opener is on Saturday, October 11th, against the Montreal Canadiens.
A home opener on a Saturday night with Jim Cornelison singing the anthem for the first time is going to be a lot of fun and should be wild. Plus, the 2024 draft debate between Artyom Levshunov and Ivan Demidov.
The next two are on Saturday, December 13th, against the Detroit Red Wings and Monday, January 19th, against the Winnipeg Jets.

Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane's return to the United Center revealed

Whenever Patrick Kane returns to the United Center, it's a must see. And the captain, Jonathan Toews, returns in January for the first time. Those two are going to get huge ovations.
Last but not least, the game's against the San Jose Sharks. The Sharks and Blackhawks are arguably one and two when it comes to young talent.
They'll be battling it out in the Western Conference Finals sooner rather than later, and these battles when Connor Bedard, Macklin Celebrini, Frank Nazar, Will Smith, Artyom Levshunov, and Sam Rinzel are still young shows what the future holds.
In a couple to a few years it'll really mean something; a spot in the Cup Final.
