According to reports from David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, it's late in the offseason, but that isn't stopping Stan Bowman of the Edmonton Oilers or Kyle Davidson of the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Chicago Blackhawks have oddly stayed conservative during the majority of the postseason. Making depth signings across the board, and trading for center Sam Lafferty, who gets his 2nd-stint in the Windy City.

Edmonton Oilers needs: Goaltending, and Cap Space

The Edmonton Oilers are another team that has former Blackhawks GM Stan Bowman leading the way. He's made significant moves, adding Isaac Howard, Curtis Lazar, and Andrew Managiapane to the lineup.
But what they're missing the most: goaltending!
It may be difficult to come across, considering they only have $221K in salary cap space after signing defenseman Evan Bouchard to a $10.5 million AAV deal.
While we can speculate that they'll need to make a trade for a goaltender, considering how dismal Stuart Skinner's performance has been during the Stanley Cup finals, it remains to be seen who is a target for Bowman.

Who Stays Or Goes: Lukas Reichel or Arvid Soderblom?

The Blackhawks could add some major talent to the lineup with over $21 million in salary cap space available.
That is after signing Dominic Toninato, Stanislav Berezhnoy, and Anton Frondell.
The team could still make some moves, after all, the crease in Chicago is crowded with the acquisition of Stanislav Berezhnoy, who is likely headed to the AHL to play in Rockford.
With Drew Commesso and Berezhnoy sharing the crease with the IceHogs, the NHL situation seems to be set as well.
With Spencer Knight leading the way, and Arvid Soderblom or Laurent Brossoit as possible trade bait for the Blackhawks.
Soderblom could fetch the highest value for the Hawks, while teams are also calling about Lukas Reichel's availability.
Reichel may not fetch much of a haul as his current play has been disappointing, but a fresh start could be what's needed to unlock his full potential.
He was a regular linemate with now-retired forward Pat Maroon this past season.
Will the Blackhawks add a significant piece in the top-six?
