A current teammate of the former Chicago Blackhawks legend Patrick Kane was severely punished by the NHL for a dirty move in a game against the New Jersey Devils.

The 37-year-old veteran Patrick Kane left the Blackhawks organization over two years ago, but he is still followed closely in Chicago, as he marked generations of Hawks fans.
He won three Stanley Cups, five individual awards, and many honors on the international scene.
The forward is currently in Detroit, with the Red Wings, where he has played for the past two seasons.
The Wings are currently 2nd in the Atlantic Division, only a point behind the Tampa Bay Lightning.
In Kane's last game, one of his teammates made a dirty move that resulted in an official consequence from the NHL's Department of Player Safety.

Patrick Kane's Teammate Gets Fined By The NHL For Butt-Ending Simon Nemec

The Red Wings faced the New Jersey Devils on Monday night, and a dangerous move from Wings defenseman Ben Chiarot on the Devils' Simon Nemec got most of the attention.
Indeed, during a small brawl in the Devils' zone, Chiarot butt-ended Nemec, taking him out of the game momentarily.
If you missed it, here's what happened:
That move wasn't called by the referees, when it should've been a major penalty:
Yesterday, the NHL announced further discipline to Chiarot, with a $5,000 fine, the maximum amount allowed by the CBA:
The Red Wings and Patrick Kane will be in Chicago on December 13th to face the Blackhawks.
The last time both teams met, earlier this month, the Wings lost 5-1. Kane will surely look to bounce back and offer a great performance to beat his former organization the next time around.
