Chicago Blackhawks set to acquire Ottawa Senators forward Brady Tkachuk? It was just confirmed
As we reported in February, the Chicago Blackhawks' potential aquisition of Brady Tkachuk from the Ottawa Senators would ultimately complete the rebuild, and today it was just confirmed.
Fans even took things to the next level, photoshopping Tkachuk in various NHL jerseys including the Chicago Blackhawks'.
The Ottawa Senators management group involving owner Michael Andlauer and president of hockey operations Steve Staios were forced to take exception to the rumors, which led to a statement released by Brady Tkachuk.
After the Ottawa Senators dropped their best of seven game series against the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 'Battle of Ontario' in round 1, Tkachuk has addressed the trade talks once more and it confirms it.
The Ottawa Senators captain has confirmed that a trade will not be taking place.
