The Chicago Blackhawks kicked off their first training camp of the season on Thursday, and we got to see just how intense newest head coach Jeff Blashill is through his drills.

After a dreadful 2024-25 season, changes needed to be made to bring the Chicago Blackhawks out of this rebuilding rut.
The first move completed was the firing of head coach Anders Sorensen, who was filling in as interim head coach after the firing of Luke Richardson.
Since, Blackhawks fans have been unaware of what to expect from Blashill, but the players surely know it now following their first training camp practice.
"Ten minutes into Jeff Blashill's tenure and we have the first F bomb"
'What happened?' a fan said.
Blackhawks reporter Mario Tirabassi revealed that the team was very sloppy in a drill, which led to their new head coach being quite frustrated.
"First observation: Jeff Blashill has a very loud voice when he wants to. Must have the lungs of a singer."

Emotion from Jeff Blashill is a sigh of relief

Blashill's emotion and hard-headed coaching attributes will benefit the Blackhawks in the long run, and it's something we haven't seen much of.
Anders Sorensen and Luke Richardson were both very mute behind Chicago's bench throughout the past two seasons, including times when a voice was needed.
