Kyle Davidson and the Chicago Blackhawks have completed a move involving 11 players ahead of their final preseason game against the St. Louis Blues.

The Chicago Blackhawks are setting themselves apart from the pack of NHL clubs, which are demotions at this part of the preseason.
Instead, General Manager Kyle Davidson and the Blackhawks are tapping into the well of Rockford to bring talent up to the NHL for their game against the St. Louis Blues.
Three players: defenseman Cavan Fitzgerald, forward Brett Seney, and goaltender Mitchell Weeks were signed to PTO (professional try-out offers).

It appears that the Rockford IceHogs' Captain will get another look in the NHL with this move from the team, as they've signed him to a PTO.

The Chicago Blackhawks Recall Eight Players from Rockford

The Chicago Blackhawks have called up eight players from the Rockford IceHogs, as they prepare to match up against their rivals, the St. Louis Blues.
That large swath of players who will arrive at the United Center ahead of the team's final preseason game tonight will be:
Defensemen: Taige Harding and Kevin Korchinski.

Forwards: Center Paul Ludwinski, Gavin Hayes, Martin Misiak, Samuel Savoie, Aidan Thompson, and Dominic Toninato.

The Blackhawks' record in preseason play is 2-3-0, and they will be hosting the St. Louis Blues, led by former Presidents' Trophy-winning head coach Jim Montgomery, tonight.
The team is 2-0 at home this year, as they've proven capable of defending home ice against all competitors we've seen so far.
While the St. Louis Blues have fared less than well, with a record of 1-3-1, and with a great effort from the mix of prospects and veterans in the Blackhawks lineup, they could add a 4th loss to that record.
Frank Nazar leads the Blackhawks in scoring with 5 points (4-1) during exhibition play.
You can view tonight's game against the Blackhawks at 7 P.M. on ESPN+.
