A leaked video of Montreal Canadiens forward Ivan Demidov is causing a stir and it's embarrassing
Ivan Demidov was drafted 5th overall and pegged the Montreal Canadiens' newest superstar, yet a moment in Quebec at the CN Sports Complex during practice caught on camera is going viral.
Ivan Demidov was pegged as the next biggest star for the Montreal Canadiens after Cole Caulfield.
Demidov was selected 5th overall in the 2024 NHL draft, and as a former teammate of Matvei Michkov, had lots of hype surrounding him.
He'd make his NHL debut last season, scoring 2 points (1-1) in 2 games, a decent effort to begin his career. Yet video of him practicing at the CN Sports Complex is going viral due to a hilarious, although sad, moment.
Sad, because he was drafted 5th overall, and hilarious because of that very thing. This looks like something that would happen in a beer-league game.
Matvei Michkov suddenly looks more promising for the Philadelphia Flyers over Ivan Demidov
While Matvei Michkov has taken the league and Philadelphia by storm, it appears his teammate Ivan Demidov has some brushing up on his skating to do.
With the looks of his shot and his abilities, he may be ready to make a jump to the ECHL already with that shot. I feel bad for him already!

Demidov only played 71 games in the KHL with SKA St. Petersburg, scoring 49 points (19-30) in the 2nd greatest league in the world.
