Would signing this goaltender be a good idea?

One of the biggest holes in the Blackhawks' roster right now is the lack of a goalie. As the team rebuilds, Chicago needs someone to fill the goalie tandem spot while prospects like Arvid Söderblom and Drew Commesso develop. An answer to the goalie gap problem could be found in Martin Jones.

Jones has played on the Kings, Flyers and most notably the Sharks. He has 25 career shutouts and an overall .907 save percentage. With the experience he's gained in nine seasons, he could help mentor Kevin Lankinen into the starting goalie the Hawks are in desperate need of.
With his last contract only costing $2,000,000 for one year, the Blackhawks could get him for fairly cheap while still shopping around for younger players. If they can't acquire anyone over the summer, Jones would be a good candidate. If he's signed and plays in Chicago for two years alongside Lankinen, this would give both Lankinen and prospects the opportunity to learn and grow.
Unless Kyle Davidson pulls off an outrageous trade for a young and promising goaltender, I think someone like Jones could be one of the missing pieces to help the rebuild along. Signing him would help prevent rushed development among Söderblom and Commesso, as well as assist Lankinen in his own growth.
