The young 23 year old Canadian forward was moved before the trade deadline hit, and it left the fan base shocked.

The Blackhawks received multiple first round picks, and two older prospects from Tampa Bay- but it still did not make sense as Blackhawks GM planned to «rebuild» and youth is usually the way to go. Having 37 points in 55 games this season, Hagel will be missed by many.
