Don Cherry may not be on TV much these days, but he's still a big part of hockey. On Saturday, he shared some sad news about former Mississauga IceDogs player Scott Page passing away at just 44.

Page was the first captain for the IceDogs, now known as the Niagara IceDogs.
He played in the Ontario Hockey League for teams like the Sudbury Wolves and Soo Greyhounds before spending 4 years at St. Thomas University.
"Was so sad to hear the passing of Scott Page, the first captain of the Mississauga IceDogs. He was a tough as they come and a great leader. Godspeed Scott."
Despite his important role with the IceDogs, Page didn't take his hockey career further. Condolences to the Page family and all of Scott Page's friends and loved ones.
