These Edmonton Oilers Fans Are Trying to Make Money Off of The Passing of Ben Stelter
The Edmonton Oilers good luck charm, Ben Stelter, lost his battle with brain cancer on Wednesday August 10th. Ben was just six years of age, and went through over 30 sessions and two chemotherapy treatments to remove the tumor, it got removed and sadly came back around December of last year. Ben was the strongest individual ever, despite having all troubles in his way Ben still showed up and support his Edmonton Oilers with a smile on his face each and every night.
When Ben was introduced to the Oilers team, they went on a nine game winning streak to end the season! And had great success in the playoffs, Ben was known for his infamous ''Play La Bamba Baby'' video!
As shown in the photo of this article, Ben had his very own special hockey card made for him, the card can be shown below, a blown up version of it.
These cards were given out for FREE, to Edmonton Oilers fans at a game last season. Sadly, after the passing of Ben, ''fans'' have listed this free card they've gotten, for over $200.
This is a truly disgusting act. And some sellers even have dozens of them, which they got for free, and have sold them for over $200.
