The Columbus Blue Jackets made a interesting move today signing former 40 goal scorer the "Real Deal James Neal" to a professional tryout otherwise called a PTO.
Neal was at one time one of the NHL's elite scoring 40 goals with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Unfortunately Neal's offence has disappeared like a friend that owes you money. Neal only played 19 games last season and only scoring 2 goals, and 2 assists before being sent down for the reminder of the season to the Blues AHL affiliate Springfield Thunderbirds.
Neal is trying to keep playing for the love of the game not like he needs the money infact, Neal is still being paid $1,916,667 per year for the next three seasons after being bought out from the Edmonton Oilers.
