Very seldom do young top-pair defencemen get moved to another team, let alone twice before their 30th birthday.

But that is exactly the case for Seth Jones, who was drafted by the Predators, then moved to the Blue Jackets and finally to Chicago.
And Jones, is reportedly very happy with the decision to play in Chicago for the long-term.
Surely the Blackhawks weren't prepared to move forward without a true number one defender, with Adam Boqvist still developing. So, the Hawks opted to swing a trade to bring in their number one man on the blueline.
While Jones was skeptical of the direction the team was headed, he gave it some thought and decided that it was for the best interest of the team.
"It was a little frustrating to see (the trades this summer) at first. It's not really what I or anybody had in mind, looking back a couple years," Jones said. "But it is what it is. It's going to make a lot of us better in here. We'll be patient with each other and help each other through this. I don't have any regrets.»
What do you think Hawks fans, is the 27-year-old Jones the man for the job?
