The Philadelphia Flyers are coming off a worst season in quite some time, being a bottom 5 team in the NHL is not something you see too often from the orange and black squad.

They have a very awkward roster, it seems as if they are in the middle of a rebuild but at the same time not.. their general manager has recently confirmed the rebuild stage is looking more and more liking to be upcoming and a new coach in the system should spark something new.
And it already has after offering Barry Trotz the largest coaching contract in NHL history that he declined, the Flyers have signed John Tortorella to a 4 year deal averaging around $4,500,000 per season.
The issue? Tortorella is one of the very few coaches left that are considered to be «old school» while coaching, meaning he is very hard on his players.
Flyers Cam Atkinson was acquired in a large trade from Columbus, Tortorella's as well.. well the hiring has became a meme on Twitter and former Blue Jackets power forward and alternate captain Brandon Dubinsky poked fun at the fact that Torts signed in Philly.
Current Blue Jacket Zach Werenski poked in on the fun as well, and Cam Atkinson responded to it in a questionable manner.
It seems as if Atkinson isn't much impressed as Torts haunts him once again, it should be interesting to see this season unfold for Philly..
