The Buffalo Sabres have been a disappointing team for many years now. They haven't made the playoffs since 2010 and fans have understandably very frustrated.

However things are starting to improve in Buffalo despite only having a 32-39-11 record the Sabres seemed to shown progression. The Sabres even look like a better team after trading their captain Jack Eichel to the Vegas.
However with alot of solid draft picks in the cupboards Buffalo Sabres General Manager Kevyn Adams has his eyes set on bringing a home town super star to the Sabres lineup.
That player is none other then maybe the greatest US born player of all-time Chicago Blackhawks' Patrick Kane. The Sabres don't want to trade for kane as that price tag isn't going to be cheap however, Kane is heading into the final year of his current contract and is a pending unrestricted free agent this next summer.

Kane is a three time Stanley Cup champion in Chicago and one of the greatest players of this generation. Kane is 33 and still putting up solid numbers. Kane would definitely help the Sabres on ice and off putting asses in seats and selling Merch.
