We are officially 39 days away from September 28th, which marks the Blackhawks first day back on the ice, in a official NHL pre-season game which will take place against the Hawks rivalry, the Detroit Red Wings. The game will give Blackhawks fans a opportunity to see entirely new faces, from experienced signings like Max Domi to newcomers like Lukas Reichel and others.

No. 39: Nikolai Khabibulin (G, 2005-09, 2013)
After winning a Stanley Cup in Tampa Bay, Khabibulin signed with the Blackhawks coming out of the 2005 lockout and served as the starting goaltending for the next four seasons. He went 91-80-25 with a 2.84 goals-against average, a .902 save percentage and six shutouts during his tenure. The Bulin Wall's best season came in 2008-09 when he backstopped the Blackhawks to their first postseason berth in six years after going 25-8-7 with a 2.33 goals-against average, a .919 save percentage and three shutouts.
