After 16 years in the NHL, Loui Eriksson called it quits...but just for the NHL.

The long time veteran has agreed to play with Frolunda of the Swedish Hockey League.
Eriksson had a solid career, racking up 613 points in 1,050 games. He spent his years mostly with Vancouver, Boston, and Dallas before finishing up on a 1-year deal with Arizona.
This is the 2nd former NHLer to recently sign a pro contract closer to home, following Niklas Hjalmarsson's decision to play in the Swedish Hockey League.
