Is Caleb Jones Re-Signing With The Blackhawks? + Injury Update
Many names throughout the Blackhawks organization as of late have been up in the air due to trade rumors, and Kyle Davison mentioning he's willing to shop practically anybody he's physically able too- aside from players with no movement clauses such as Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews and Seth Jones (brother of Caleb).
One of those names in question being Caleb Jones, a younger defenseman who was brought to Chicago in exchange for Duncan Keith to reunite the American brothers !
Jones seemed quite comfortable in a Blackhawks uniform as he surpassed his most points in a season, as well as goal total and doubling his career high in shots per season- truly showing the confidence has has developed in a Blackhawks jersey. Unfortunately Jones is a free agent this season and is due for a contract renewal..
One thing in question to his new contract that'll be upcoming shortly is the injury he suffered at the Olympics this summer with team USA, which took him out of the entire tournament well good news! Caleb Jones is good to go for the start of the season and is feeling better than ever!
Caleb is also expected to re-sign in Chicago this off-season to be with his brother for a couple more years, Jones should be a cheap contract to plug a hole in the lineup with a budgeted cost throughout this rebuild.
