Ian Cole, is a veteran NHL defensemen who is currently in the Tampa Bay Lighting organization, the Lightning have decided to suspend the defensemen until further notice due to the fact that he is facing sexual assault/grooming allegations against a minor. Ian Cole's agent took to twitter to release the following statement of his representative, Ian Cole:

''I take the allegations made against me today in an anonymous tweet very seriously. completely deny these allegations and will fully cooperate with the NHL and the Tampa Bay Lightning, their officials and legal departments in the forthcoming investigation. look forward to clearing my name and demonstrating to the NHL and the Tampa Bay Lightning that these allegations are unfounded. will have no further comment until the NHL's investigation concludes.''
