Alexander Ovechkin has proved himself to be one if not the best scorer in todays hockey game and he plays a huge role in the Washington Capitals most recent success throughout these past multiple years.

The Washington Capitals have already clinched a playoff birth once again, despite clinching they are in a fight with the Boston Bruins for the number one wild card spot in the Eastern Conference.
Being just 3 points back, and having quite the tough schedule ahead-New York Islanders twice in a row and their final game of the year against the red hot New York Rangers.
In Washingtons most recent game against the Toronto Maple Leafs (Sunday April 24), the Capitals superstar took a hard crash into the end boards after being tripped up on the Toronto Maple Leaf goalies stick.
It seems as if it was identically similar to Connor McDavids past collar bone break injury, and most are in question about Ovechkins well being as well as if he'll be able to play again this season.
