During a game between the Florida Panthers and Ottawa Senators on Monday night, a collision between the Sens' Travis Hamonic and Florida's Alexander Barkov resulted in the dislodging of a pane of glass near one of the corners of the ice. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident, but a photographer capturing the action took the impact of the boards coming through. If the glass had shattered, the situation could have been much worse.

Credit must be given to Travis Hamonic, who quickly grabbed one end of the pane to prevent anyone from being injured. While these types of incidents are relatively rare in hockey, they serve as a reminder of the potential dangers of the sport and the importance of safety measures in place to protect players, staff, and spectators alike.
