Mike Babcock has been around the game of hockey for a long time and until recently, it was believed, or thought that he would continue the trend.

He recently announced that he has stepped down from his coaching role, citing that he is ready to retire from coaching.
Babcock stated in a press conference that regardless of the jobs offered to him, that he wouldn't coach again, even at the NHL level.
What a career for the sure-fire NHL Hall of Famer. Over 1300 NHL games coached, a record of 700 wins, 418 losses and 19 ties, along with one Stanley Cup win in 2007-08 with the Detroit Red Wings.
Cheers on a storied career and countless accomplishments, Coach Babcock.
