Blackhawks Refuse to Re-Sign Strome - Scores 2 in Debut With New Team

Players lost due to not-resigning:

•Dylan Strome - Signed in Washington
•Henrik Borgstrom - signed in Washington
•Kevin Lankinen - signed in Nashville
•Dominik Kubalik - signed in Detroit

That is just a solid chunk of the list, more names like Calvin De Haan and other prospects who never panned out were also not re-signed.

One that hurt the most, and drew a lot of confusion was forward Dylan Strome not being re-signed by Kyle Davidson. Strome fit in perfectly centering Patrick Kane and is coming off a career best season points wise. Strome had many good friendships in Chicago, and is still very young at the age of 25, but I guess that did not fulfill the Blackhawks rebuild plan.

Strome was quickly picked up by the Washington Capitals as he was deemed one of the best free agent centerman available.
