the Winnipeg Jets have had quite the odd off-season, not many acquisitions as well as not many players being departed, some key signings have been made such as Pierre-Luc Dubois and others.
The Jets have a great prospect pool of forwards Cole Perfetti and defenseman Ville Heinola, veterans are needed to guide their youth into the right foot steps.
And the Jets understand that, they've announced a signing, and it's for a steal of a deal!
The #Jets have signed forward Sam Gagner to a one-year deal worth $750K AAV. Ganger , 33 years of age, he had 13 goals and 31 points through 81 games played with Detroit last season on the bottom 6 forward group.
Ganger still has plenty of game left, and it was rumored that he was signing with the Edmonton Oilers- but the fellow Canadian Jets got to him first.
