Chicago Blackhawks forward Philipp Kurashev's arbitration case has come to a resolution.

According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the 23-year-old will be awarded a two-year contract worth $2.25 million. Initially, Kurashev's agent had requested $2.6 million, while the Blackhawks had countered with $1.4 million.
The settlement falls in the middle, ensuring Kurashev's continued presence on the team and providing him with financial stability for the next two seasons.
The agreement allows both player and team to focus on their upcoming challenges for the upcoming NHL season.
