The Chicago Blackhawks have officially signed their biggest contract that they've inked in several plus years.

The Blackhawks have signed
Connor Bedard to a three-year entry-level contract, sources have confirmed. Bedard, who turned 18 TODAY, was selected as the No. 1 overall pick by the Blackhawks in the 2023 NHL Draft.
The young forward expressed his excitement about joining the organization, acknowledging the team's rich history and passionate fanbase.
Due to Canadian Hockey League rules, Bedard is not eligible to play in the AHL next season, making it highly likely that he will be part of the Blackhawks' Opening Night roster.

His contract will formally take effect after he participates in his 10th NHL game. In his previous season, Bedard accumulated an impressive 143 points in 57 games for the Regina Pats, leading the Western Hockey League in scoring.
