Veteran insider Frank Seravalli dropped a major announcement yesterday

Seravalli shared that after a remarkable 17-year run, Paul Stastny is retiring from the NHL as a whole.
"I saw Stastny mention retirement somewhere,"
Seravalli noted.
An official confirmation is expected before next season's kickoff. The son of the legendary Peter Stastny, Paul played 1145 NHL games for the Avalanche, Blues, Jets, Golden Knights, and Hurricanes.
Over his career, he notched 822 points, including 293 goals.
