Today, we are September ninth of 2022 and we are counting down the days by honoring Blackhawks players, ranked by their best jersey number! As today is the ninth, we will be honoring the Blackhawks best #9 of all-time. No. 9: Bobby Hull (LW, 1957-72)
The franchise's all-time leader in goals (604), Hull scored at least 50 in a season twice and was a first-team NHL All-Star in 10 of his 15 seasons in Chicago. He won two Hart trophies and three Art Ross trophies as a member of the Blackhawks. Only Stan Mikita (1,467) has more points in Blackhawks history than Hull (1,153). He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame and had his jersey retired by the Blackhawks in 1983.
