Sadly on November seventh during his 502nd game Hall suffered a injury..
''A back issue forced Glenn Hall, who was making his 502nd straight start, to depart the game against the Boston Bruins in the first period. As the Blackhawks and Bruins played to a 3-3 tie, Denis DeJordy took his spot between the pipes.''
