We are officially 53 days away until September 28th hits, that day marks the Blackhawks first official game back on the ice as they'll face off against the Detroit Red Wings for a pre-season game. Today, we honor the Blackhawks best #53, with a career summary brought to you by NBC Sports Chicago.

No. 53: Brett McLean (C, 2002-04)
McLean was the fifth-to-last pick in the 1997 draft and didn't make his NHL debut until December of 2002 with the Blackhawks.

But from those humble beginnings, McLean ended up with a six-year NHL career, including two in Chicago where he notched 11 goals and 20 assists in 78 games.

His time in Chicago was quite short, highlights of him in a Blackhawks jersey are non existent, but his fight videos are still up- he was one tough customer!
