«I expect he's training,» Yzerman said when he met with media to discuss next week's NHL draft. «I don't think he's skating or shooting pucks yet, but I expect him to be 100 percent by training camp.»

«He had an injury, an upper-body injury that he was dealing with late in the season that we didn't really think a lot about at the time,» Yzerman said. «And then the end of the season, we do all of our testing and they get whatever scans and x-rays and things. He had to address that with — I don't want to call it minor surgery, but he had to have surgery.»
