Decade Long NHL Veteran Surprisingly Placed On Waivers By Minnesota Wild

The Minnesota Wild have placed 10-year veteran Devin Shore on waivers, according to Sportsnet's NHL insider Elliotte Friedman

It appears as though the Wild are in search of finding a more productive forward to fill in for the injured Jakub Lauko, who was acquired by the Wild from the Boston Bruins.

Devin Shore spent his career with the San Jose Sharks, Edmonton Oilers, Seattle Kraken and now it could be his last go, finishing his NHL hopes with the Minnesota Wild who are jam-packed with veteran presences.

Comparing Devin Shore to a Chicago Blackhawk, he is ideally Pat Maroon without the fighting.

He brings a strong off-ice presence and can also tally up points in clutch moments, who may be considered a valuable player to the Blackhawks, who lack stability on all four-forward lines.
