The sky-high expectations on Connor Bedard just got another push. The 20-year-old center for the Chicago Blackhawks was named the NHL's 3rd star of the month for November after piling up impressive numbers and helping keep Chicago competitive.

Bedard delivered 12 goals and 19 points in ten November games for Chicago, helping the Blackhawks finish the month at 10-8-5.
The only other two players who ranked ahead of them in the month of November were solidified NHL stars Nathan MacKinnon and Jason Robertson.
Earlier in November, Bedard was named second star of the 'week,' with MacKinnon taking home the first-place honors.
His scoring surge wasn't just on the power play-he also ranked among the league leaders in even-strength points, showing he can drive offense without the man advantage.
The award marks another major recognition for the young pivot after already being named Second Star of the Week for Nov. 3-9, when he posted 3 goals and 7 assists in four games.
His hot stretch renewed hope in a rebuilding Blackhawks roster. Bedard's shot volume jumped. His passes and game awareness made his teammates better. His early season performance suggested he is now fully embracing his star potential.

Bedard cementing star status in November

It's more than just his point totals-Bedard's November scoring surge came with consistency.
He scored in multiple games, created chances at five-on-five, and plugged into both power play and even-strength situations effectively. His 12-goal output showed his true first overall pick instincts in all situations; his playmaking demonstrated high hockey IQ.
The National Hockey League and Chicago Blackhawks both marked the achievement publicly
For a generation of Blackhawks fans craving a return to relevance, Bedard offering steady offense and youthful energy is huge. He isn't just lighting up the box score-he's becoming the go-to guy in clutch moments.
With that kind of November behind him, the pressure rises on opponents to find a way to slow him down. And for Blackhawks fans, every game starts to feel like a chance for Bedard to prove he belongs among the elite.
