Chicago Blackhawks welcome back three familiar faces with trio signing announcement

With the Chicago Blackhawks' re-build in full swing, the organization is doing everything in its power to pursue strategic, yet, quick offseason moves.

That being said, the organization has already started off their summer strong, as they have undergone several moves in order to move forward in becoming bigger competitors for the 2025/26 NHL season.

And new insight has unveiled the organization has yet again made an unexpected move, as it was just announced that the organization has completed the re-signing of three forwards.

The Rockford IceHogs and their general manager, Mark Bernard, officially announced on Thursday, July 3rd, that the team has re-signed three forwards to one-year AHL contracts.

These three forwards are: Marcel Marcel, Kevin Lombardi, and Ryan Gagnier.

With another signing under Chicago's belt, and with the organization currently in the midst of their re-build and offseason moves, it is certain that Blackhawks fans can anticipate many more unexpected changes to erupt in this Original Six franchise, within the next upcoming weeks.
