After another dreadful season in Chicago concluded, it now holds a busy off-season incoming. With a rebuilding roster nearly completed, there is a good chance three aging players who's time with the team is expiring will be moved.

According to Michael DeRosa of NHLTR, the following three players will be sent packing by Blackhawks general manager Kyle Davidson as he's set to clean house.
Connor Murphy
Murphy has been one of the names showing up most in trade talks for quite some time, but his injuries have held him from a move actually faciliating. There is always a high-demand for big, right-handed shooting, stay-at-home defenseman in today's NHL market, and Connor Murphy will certainly be a hot commodity this summer.
"This is especially so when noting that the free-agent market for right-shot defenseman is not the biggest this year.DeRosa noted

Philipp Kurashev
The 25-year old forward could certainly use a change in his NHL career as he has not panned out into the player he was once expected to be when being selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2018 draft 120th overall. Despite numerous opportunites to excel with top-line chances, he failed to score more than 15 points this season throughout his 51 games played.
"While he has had a down year, there still could be interest in him this summer, as he had 18 goals and 54 points in 75 games just back in 2023-24." DeRosa noted

Lukas Reichel
Reichel is quite the interesting name to keep an eye on as his lack of integrity for the organization was truly shown when he missed a team meeting in early April, resulting in coaching staff removing him from their gameday lineup. The 22-year old forward, same as Kurashev, could use a change of scenery but has shown no promise despite having opportunity to play on the top line alongside Connor Bedard.
"The 2020 first-round pick has appeared in 69 games this season, where he has eight goals, 22 points, and a minus-1 rating." Noted DeRosa

Buckle up Blackhawks fans, this is going to be a busy off-season!
