Chicago Blackhawks organization sends a goaltender packing in official transaction

The Rockford IceHogs have made a roster move, sending defenseman Josh Maniscalco on loan to the Indy Fuel of the ECHL.

Maniscalco, 25, has contributed seven assists in 21 games with the IceHogs this season.

Additionally, he's notched four points, including three goals and one assist, in three games with Indy during the current campaign. They've also sent goaltender Weeks down as well.

The IceHogs are set to face off against the Grand Rapids Griffins at the BMO Center on Saturday, Mar. 23, with puck drop scheduled for 7 p.m.
