Final roster decisions have not been made for the Chicago Blackhawks yet, but it looks like multiple players are battling it out for the final one or two spots on the roster that will play the 1st regular season game next month.

There are still plenty of decisions that have to be made by new Chicago Blackhawks head coach Jeff Blashill on how his final roster is going to look by the time they play the Florida Panthers on October 7 to begin the new season.
And even though the final roster is still being fully assembled, it looks like, per a Blackhawks analyst, one of the final spots could come down to multiple players battling it out.
Per analyst Charlie Roumeliotis, Matt Grzelcyk, Louis Crevier, Kevin Korchinski and Nolan Allan are all vying for a spot on the roster on the blue line.
Matt Grzelcyk and Louis Crevier are skating in the AHL group today. Kevin Korchinski and Nolan Allan will be with the NHL group. So they flip-flopped, as expected, to give each a look.

It feels like the four of them are vying for the final spot or two.

Which of the Blackhawks players will be the last one standing?

Grzelcyk may be the best bet to earn the spot on Chicago's blue line, as he had 40 points(1G, 39A) last year while playing in all 82 games for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Crevier has only 56 total games of NHL experience under his belt, and has 7 points (3G, 4A).
Allan, taken 32nd overall in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft by Chicago, played in 43 games last year for Chicago with 8 points (1G, 7A); he's also played 80 total games in the AHL with the Rockford IceHogs.
Finally, Korchinski was the 7th overall pick by the Blackhawks in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, and he already played a full year in the NHL in 2023-24, playing in 76 games with 15 points (5G, 10A).
