Chicago Blackhawk Taylor Hall Skips Morning Skate And He's Disciplined

NHL Insider Ben Pope has reported that Taylor Hall has missed the Blackhawks' morning skate, prior to their game against the Washington Capitals.

There's been no confirmation that Hall has been injured, or ill according to Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.

Pope would ask Head Coach Anders Sorensen for the reason.

It appears he just took the morning off, which has us questioning whether GM Kyle Davidson is up to something today.

Hall has played 30 games for the Blackhawks this season, scoring 14 points( 7 G, 7 A) and has been healthy all season.

Hall has been named the top trade candidate for the 2024 deadline by The Hockey News' Michael DeRosa.

Former Boston Bruins forward Taylor Hall is a clear player to watch as we get closer to the 2025 NHL Trade Deadline. The veteran forward is a pending unrestricted free agent (UFA) on a struggling Chicago Blackhawks club, so the expectation is that he will be shopped.

Hall makes $6 Million AAV, and Davidson will have to retain a percentage of his salary in order to make the move more palatable for his next squad.

The Boston Bruins are in desperate need of a top-six presence, and could Hall be the answer?

The teams are trading partners already, and GM Don Sweeney originally sent Hall to Chicago before.

Teams needing more experience and secondary scoring in their middle six should be in the mix for Hall's services. If the Bruins are in a post-season spot nearing the deadline, perhaps they could even inquire about him.

Hall's a former 2018 Hart Trophy Winner and has never been part of a team that's won a Stanley Cup during his career.

While mentioned that he'd like to stay in Chicago, the team may have other plans?
