Good news for the Chicago Blackhawks: forward André Burakovsky is back in the lineup for Friday's game against the Nashville Predators, giving a boost to Chicago's offense and depth.

After missing three games with an undisclosed injury, he'll slot back in alongside Connor Bedard and Ryan Greene on the top line.
Burakovsky was injured during Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Seattle Kraken, absorbing a heavy hit from defenseman Ryan Lindgren.
He left the game and was subsequently ruled out of the next two games as a precaution.
While the team managed only a single point during his absence and allowed 14 goals in those three games, most expected Burakovsky to return fairly quickly.
Burakovsky returns with 15 points in 18 games this season-that's seven goals and eight assists-putting him on pace for a career-best 64-point season.
The Bedard-Greene-Burakovsky trio already shows chemistry: in nearly 90 minutes of 5-on-5 ice time together, they've outscored their opponents 7-3 and controlled about 50.26 percent of expected goals.

Burakovsky's return renews Blackhawks' top line punch

Adding Burakovsky back should help stabilize Chicago's attack. He brings size at 6'3», 203 pounds, and puck possession ability that complements Bedard's speed and Greene's playmaking.
Chicago's record sits at 10-8-5, fifth place in the Central Division, two points behind the final wild-card seed.
The Blackhawks hope that reinserting Burakovsky will snap their four-game losing streak and give them some momentum heading into December.
