Chicago Blackhawks head coach Jeff Blashill addressed Connor Bedard and Frank Nazar's performance after their tough loss against the Seattle Kraken on Monday.

Since the season started, the Chicago Blackhawks have shown that they can put themselves in a position to win every night.
Even if the results haven't gone their way at all times, players compete hard and manage to keep the other teams on their toes.
After the game, Jeff Blashill shared his thoughts on his two star players, Connor Bedard and Frank Nazar, in a press conference.

Jeff Blashill Opens Up On Bedard And Nazar After Loss To Kraken

Blashill believes that a few players on the team struggled to bring their A-game against the Kraken, which explains the loss:
"I thought tonight it was too spread throughout the team. I just think we have better in us as a group as a whole. We didn't have enough guys who had their A-game.

[When] both teams are clogging that up, it makes it hard. Games are hard, man. It's not going to be a lot of free-flowing [hockey]. You've got to really earn your offense. Sometimes you need some ugly ones, and we just didn't get quite enough pucks through."

He also shared his thoughts on Frank Nazar, who has been held off the scoresheet for the past three games:
"There's a lot of burden on [Nazar's] shoulders for a guy that hasn't played a lot. For us to expect him to be on top of his game every single night is probably not realistic. It's the same with a lot of our guys - there's going to be ups and downs. We've just got to collectively make sure we have more ups than downs."

About Bedard, who recorded an assist on the Hawks' only goal of the game against the Kraken, he said:
"The thing I'd say about Connor is his compete every single day is outstanding. I asked him at the beginning of the year, as one of the better players on the team, to be a great leader in terms of playing winning hockey, and he's done that consistently."

Nazar, Bedard, and the Hawks will be back in action against the Vancouver Canucks tomorrow night.
